One wants to believe that “people don’t do things like this.” But my own experience as well as some of the narratives I have gotten from other women indicate that they do happen, and ignoring them will only encourage others to participate in this type of behavior if they are allowed to get away with it without any punishment. The allegations should be investigated and either proven wrong or substantiated. So we are publishing them in the hope that no other woman will have to endure what she did. A True Story Angelia was not supposed to remember ! Not after being date-raped-drugged, water-boarded, electric-shocked and thumbscrew tortured — then gang raped at fancy places by big important men. But she did After meeting other victims with similar experiences, after the local county sheriff said: “this has been happening for decades and decades” after he spent over an hour taking her victim statements, after her therapist said there were 10 other victims like her, in their small town, after national and local domestic violence advocates said they had heard this before, after learning that Georgia federal prosecutors had convicted some in the ring, after learning that a public policy group had identified Marriott as a purveyor of porn, after seeing some of her tormentors on TV news, C-span and congressional web sites. This can happen to any woman who hooks up with the “wrong” man Angelia was not a street-walker, a call-girl, or a drug addict; she came from a relatively prosperous and politically active Tennessee family. She was a middle-school gifted and special education teacher with a Masters degree, a married mother of twin babies. Her husband was a pilot who sold her to the sex-ring to pay off his debts to them after he was furloughed from Delta Airlines. What has happened to her is not over for her, her children, or other victims. Honest Congressional Officials must address the problem Because these men remain in power and continue their heinous enterprise of abuse; because many other victims, in addition to Angelia, need to be helped; because they have many powerful allies who cover up for them; because “responsible” agencies are not responsive or honest; because some of these men pose a national security risk; they are using Guantanamo Bay and Abu Ghraib tactics on normal US citizens for their own profit and deviant pleasure. Marriott hotels, residential mansions and even government landmarks are being used by a secret organization composed of many current and former high-level government officials for illegal purposes. Using aggressive control techniques, drugs, rape, and mind control against citizens. The victim’s basic human rights are disregarded for the gain of power and domination, privilege, and ill-gotten riches. This is one victim’s story: In July 1997, my husband, Jeff Hannah took me, in a drugged condition, to the Boston “Old State Building” — now a children’s museum. It was dark when we got there. Several men were waiting in the upstairs courtroom. I refused their demands to remove my clothes. Then I was placed on a witness stand for mock trial, judged by men in black robes, after being asked sexual questions by Barry Staples, a Georgia attorney, who would later become my own divorce attorney. They used social isolation and my fear of having no escape to reinforce their control. I was tortured, along with other victims, by Howard Baker. I didn’t need to be introduced to him, since I recognized him as a prominent Tennessee politician to whose campaign my father had contributed. This wasn’t the first time I had encountered Howard Baker in this type of situation. There was a previous abusive incident in 1993 with Howard Baker, in the Chattanooga federal building, when I had just started dating Jeff. In Boston, in 1997, I was forced into a tub full of water, which left me with almost no breathing space after the lid was put on. After being close to downing several times, I became compliant to their demands and was removed from the tub. Next, I was placed on a gurney and given drugs through an IV. Howard gave commands and bent my thumbs backwards when I did not comply immediately. Wires were connected to my body as I was given hallucinogens and volts of electrical shock, resulting in partial impairment of my memory. When I awoke, I was tied to a chair with my arms behind my back. Men named Frank Wolf and Robert Gates (whom I later identified from television) observed and conferred with Howard regarding the progress of the “training” they were conducting on me. Wolfe and Gates acted like they were Howard’s supervisors. They complained that with “adult trainees” moral coding was difficult to override — thus the necessity for gaining control over trainees before moral coding was fully learned. This indicated they were experienced in behavior and memory manipulation (“mind control”). I was not told what I was “trained” for. Later it became apparent that it was to be a “sex-slave” — to be sold to the highest price they could get for me. As part of the “mind-control” torture, a young (approximately 14 y.o.) female victim and I were shocked intermittently to create "halves," as was explained by Howard. The one who was told that she would be shocked was not always the one who was shocked. While she or I convulsed in involuntary reaction to the voltage, the other screamed. The training events ended and a man who worked for the government gave another drug to me, and took me to the nearby park where Jeff waited by a frog pond. While being taken to the park, an on-looker stopped to ask if we needed help and was dismissed. But when the second person asked if we needed help, I quickly asked him to call the police. Jeff told him that I was on drugs and the man, who had no way of knowing that I was not drugged of my own volition, left. Next, I remember awaking in my own bed at home without memory of all the details of how I got there and returned – but I did clearly remember the torture sessions. My next memory was from several years later – after we married and had twins. In Jan 2003 my husband, Jeff, drugged, blindfolded, and put our children and me in his vehicle, and drove us from our home in Ootlewah, near Chattanooga, to a mansion in nearby Mountain Lakes Estates. There we were met at the front door by a man I later knew as Bartow County, Georgia City of Cartersville Detective, Jason DiPrima. As we entered the mansion foyer, he radioed "Breach in security." Then Jeff said: "The judges are expecting us." DiPrima took us upstairs. When I resisted and fought back, Jeff threatened to kill me by holding me over the stairway railing. DiPrima took my blood pressure in one room, then Jeff took me to a glass walled bedroom with a mirror wall behind the bed, and lighting and cameras around and above it and placed me on the large bed. This bedroom room was obviously set up for visual and audio recording. I heard Jeff bringing in our two-year-old twins as they screamed for me. Cary Nelson and Herbert Crane and former TN Senator Fred Thompson came into the room. Nelson and Crane talked openly about being judges, but it wasn’t until later that I realized they were judges in nearby Bartow County, Georgia where we moved a few years later. The GA Attorney who was also at the earlier event in 1997, Barry Staples, stood at the doorway as Bartow County, GA Attorney, Anthony Perrotta, stood beside the bed on my right. Jeff sat at the head of the bed to hold me down. Jason DiPrima stood at the foot of the bed. They pointed to Thompson and asked if I knew who he was. I said that I knew him from Law and Order (but I also knew him as a politician). Staples and Thompson left, but could be heard from the other side of the mirrored wall. Judge Crane initiated the first rape, followed by Nelson, and then brutally by Perrotta, who wore a leather hooded mask. I could hear my babies crying in pain from the adjacent room. Next, the unclothed babies were placed next to me on the bed as Perrotta beat me. He said that I was just the babysitter and that I had to give up the children or be killed. DiPrima and Staples talked about the arrival of a helicopter, perhaps flown by Phillip Martin whose nearby hangar I had toured with Jeff years earlier. Next, I was flown to Marietta, Georgia and taken to Barry Staples’ house, which also served as his law office, near the local airport. I couldn’t stand on my own, and fell while trying to walk up the stairs. Jeff carried me upstairs and put me on a twin bed. I saw an uniformed officer raping an unconscious girl in the adjacent twin bed and heard the suffering she endured, and could hear cries from other females in adjacent rooms. Brian Barker, a friend from high school and now a Florida attorney, was there and tried to talk to me and comfort me. After I told Brian I had been raped he was forced to leave the room by the security men. Then, I was then taken to the Marriott Marquis hotel, in the northern part of Atlanta. While at the hotel, we were kept under twenty-four hour isolation – naked and only wrapped in thin blankets, which were removed as punishment if we violated any of their rules. The hotel room was a very dark and cold, and guarded by uniformed armed security men. We were forbidden to speak and slept on the floor or uncovered beds. We were given limited amounts of food, and were not permitted to go to the bathroom alone or to close the door. During the time in Atlanta, we were taken to a nearby warehouse, tied to a bed and used for rape/porn films. I was also forced to act as a hostess at several events where men sat in a private dinner-theatre type restaurant room. Naked young girls were forced to walk through this room of men sitting at dinner tables – after the men had finished their meal. The girls walked onto a stage where they were held down and raped by men. One young girl recognized me when we were in the entrance area. She said she was a student at the same middle-school where I was a teacher and asked for help – not realizing I was as entrapped as she was, and not able to get her out of that place. Weeks later, her aunt encountered me with anger, blaming me for what happened to her niece. But I had been threatened with being killed, and observed other women being beaten, I was unable talk about what happened. In addition to the live teen sex show, I was in other hotel “public” rooms they used: Pulse Bar, High Velocity Bar and Sear Restaurant – where they were showing videos of the sex shows they had just produced in the dinner theatre room. Men sitting at the bar or tables were saying things like: “This stuff isn’t usable, we can’t sell this!” and walking out is disgust saying they had wasted their time on this. While at the Marriott, I was brought into a conference room, where Thompson sat at a large table with stacks of files and bank records. He referred to us as "profits" and was recording money into a ledger. Jeff came to the hotel to watch a filming session, but told me that I had to stay until his debt to the men was paid. While at the Marriott, I observed Jeff meeting with Phil Martin and overheard discussion about money and payments. Approximately a week later, I was transported from the Marriott to an exclusive waterside mansion in Mississippi, where I was introduced to many politicians who arrived by air. I stood in the front foyer next to Howard Baker as he announced the state, position and the name of the men, as each came in the doorway – as if this was a “ceremonial” event. One man from N.C was refused entrance because he had failed to pay for his last visit. One man was introduced by his full title and name, but insisted that he be called “Wicker-The–Wicked.” These were the men who I would have to submit to brutal rape, while the other men watched. There were other women and groups of men in different bedrooms of this very large house. Maybe 5 or more entrapped females, and 40 to 50 participating men, were there at the same time I was. As the men were admitted entrance into the house, I observed them pulling out their wallets and credit cards as they went into the adjacent dining room and stood by a man with a computer who processed their financial transaction. Howard Baker explained to them the financial details – saying the price had risen since the last time they were there – causing many of them to groan and complain. Howard said they would pay more but get more for each level in the plan – blue, red, silver or gold. This meant that the sex slaves (such as I was that day) were to be subjected to even more depravity. The men were buying each of us for a 24-hr period, and could do whatever they wanted to us, providing they had paid for it. But only Howard and his ring would get any of the money – we were just sex slaves and only got a beating if we didn’t perform satisfactorily. I was taken to one of the many upstairs bedrooms and Barry Staples was sitting next to the bed I was laid on. Barry acted like he was the program supervisor who monitored each rape session act and reviewed the activities with me in the kitchen afterward to ensure the men got what they paid for and not what they didn’t pay for in their plan, and telling me other girls had performed better and were earning more for them. Barry stayed in the room while a series of men came in and raped, tortured, strangled and beat me and sometimes stopped them from doing things, which could leave evidence such as bruises or bleeding, or do what could kill me. Barry told one man who came into my rape room by mistake that he had to leave because hadn’t paid for me in his plan. He acted like he was very embarrassed and said he was sorry as this was his first time. I almost sympathized with this man, sensing he may have been mislead about the intended activities and was ashamed of what was going on. In between “sessions” I was allowed into the kitchen to make sandwiches and eat – but I refused to eat their food fearing I could be poisoned – so instead they gave me an IV. There were other trips to the same and different places – too numerous and traumatizing to describe in further detail at this time. This went on until 2006 when I finally got up enough nerve to get a protective order and got Jeff out of the house. That is when my life got even worse. He made good on his long-standing threat to ensure I would never see my children again if I left him. We had already moved from Ootlewah TN to the small town of Cartersville, in Bartow County Georgia, because he said he had friends there who could help me. He sure did! Those “friends” were Judge Crane and Judge Nelson who handled our divorce and custody case. It was such a shock when I went into the Bartow County court room the first time, to see rapists from Mountain Lakes Estate mansion, sitting on the bench presiding over our case, always ruling in Jeff’s favor while labeling me crazy, delusional and projecting. As Jeff’s attorney Perrotta, treated me almost as viciously as when he was raping me. They chose my attorney for me. He was Barry Staples – the same man who supervised the raping. Afterwards, I learned Barry Staples is known to be a prominent father’s rights attorney who gets sole custody for fathers accused of child sex abuse. Needless to say, I lost everything – children, marital equity and more. The Knoxville FBI office interviewed me and forwarded my file to the Northern District of Georgia federal attorney who has forwarded it to FBI in Cleveland, TN ( nearby Ooletwah). This is the same federal prosecutor who has been handling similar sex trafficking cases – which included some perpetrators from Cartersville in Bartow County GA. The sex trafficking tactics described in the official DoJ Press Release are very similar to what happened to me – except the perpetrators were “low-life” – not the high-level professional Bartow Co. men who victimized other young girls, and me. They could have been the same young girls at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis who were put on a stage for live porn sex shows. The Georgia federal prosecutor has given credit and thanks to the Bartow County Sheriff office – where Jason DiPrima – the same man who was personally involved in facilitating and protecting the rapes at Mountain Lakes Estate house, has allies. So it is no wonder the big guys were left out ! Now I fear my case complaint will be rejected immediately without investigation and I will again be labeled a crazy fabricator. Other agencies (e.g. NCMEC) who ‘purportedly” specialize in sex trafficking have also ignored (or were hostile) to my complaints. This is why we are seeking help from Congress to stop the cover-up. Angelia Shadrick ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ About Angelia’s Story ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Angelia’s story took five months and daily phone calls to tell – one humiliating painful recall at a time. She didn’t call me to offer this horrible story. She called about her children being abused. When I prodded for further details, I could hear the stress tones of her voice as someone who was in great pain and sensed she had endured a worse than normal experience. She could only say a few words about the circumstances and then had to end the conversation for that day. Each time we talked, she was only able to add a few more incidents. I recommended she go to some of the places, and in December she and her mother drove through the entire Mountain Lake Estate subdivision and photographed a few of the houses which appeared to be the most likely to be where she had been taken. The color copy of the photo of the most likely place is attached. She also drove to Atlanta and toured the Marriott Marquis Hotel, and other places she remembered. She could positively identify the dinner theatre room where the live sex show with the young girls was conducted. She obtained and assembled the evidence and medical reports to verify the drugging, rape and torture. She obtained past credit card and phone bill records for evidence of events. She has talked to others who have been victimized in a similar way – either as a child by their fathers, or more recently by husbands. All could recount similar circumstances – including a Michigan woman who was drugged and taken by train to a large hotel in New York State – maybe near Albany. There is too much collateral and verified evidence to dismiss her complaint as a product of a “delusional woman” as all the Bartow county authorities and others have been doing. Policy makers have been unwitting enablers of this corruption. Protecting children and stopping child exploitation has been more political grandstanding and less victim intervention. There is no accountability or oversight in this area of government and public policy. All verification is based on authority, not victim complaints. The controlling assumptions that: (1) we have a “national child abuse crisis”, versus: (2) “who would do something like that” - are what non-responsive and co-conspiring officials use to deflect scrutiny – knowing no one will blame them for failing to stop the problems or investigate a specific case. The word of involved authorities is always taken on face value, while victims are always told “Prove It” first. No rape victims, especially a victim of rape by public officials, should be told her experience must be corroborated before they can conduct an investigation. Rape is the most private of crimes – rarely with an eye-witness. No rape victim is able to corroborate her own victimization. DNA evidence should never be required in a case where the victim was held against her will for a long period of time. And victim complaints should never be referred to the same people she has identified as the rapist. Policy makers are only too willing to confirm whatever request the people running and agencies and programs want – and are very reluctant to challenging them in any way – falsely assuming their ‘profound’ claims of ‘ always putting children first” or “having zero tolerance for child abusers” are enough to confirm on them near sainthood. It is a definite sign of internal cover-up when a perpetrator can rise to the level of Cabinet Secretary without fear of being exposed as being involved in pedophilia and sex trafficking. Since we have identified several current Senators and Congressmen as been involved in these activities – it cannot be referred to just any committee of jurisdiction. It must be handled very carefully or evidence will be destroyed or witness even killed. We are working on getting more evidence, finding other victims and more honest officials involved. Allen was sentenced to 2 years, 10 months in prison to be followed by 3 years of supervised release, and fined $1,500. Jackson was sentenced to 5 years in prison to be followed by 3 years of supervised release, and fined $1,500. Allen and Jackson were convicted of these charges on May 1, 2006 when they each entered a guilty plea to one count of conspiracy to commit peonage, sex trafficking, forced labor, trafficking with respect to peonage and forced labor and witness tampering. Allen and Jackson admitted to conspiring with former professional wrestler Harrison “Hardbody” Norris Jr., to recruit and force several women into prostitution and domestic servitude. According to information presented in court, Jackson admitted to acting as a leader of the ring in the Atlanta area. Specifically, Jackson admitted that he and Norris would bail unsuspecting women out of local jails and use those debts to coerce the women into prostitution in order to make repayment. Jackson further admitted that he provided two women to Norris’ forced prostitution business. One of those women testified at Norris' trial that before Jackson handed her over to Norris, she was kidnapped, choked, and sexually assaulted by Jackson. Allen admitted that she was Norris' most loyal “team leader”. According to Allen, since 2001, she helped Norris recruit women, many of whom were poor, homeless or addicted to drugs, to engage in prostitution, by first convincing them that Norris would help them to become female wrestlers. Allen gave Norris’ scheme an aura of respectability as she would tell the women she was in a female wrestling troupe and they could be as well. However, when they were recruiting these victims, Allen knew that the women would not become professional wrestlers and that they would be forced to engage in prostitution. In her role as “team leader”, Allen supervised and monitored the victims who were lured to Norris's home, to ensure that they would not escape or fail to comply with Norris's rules. According to the evidence at trial, Allen assaulted a women at Norris's instruction and induced several victims to engage in commercial sex acts, by scaring them with tales of physical repercussions from Norris if they refused to do as they were told. Allen ultimately cooperated in the case and testified against Norris at trial describing his organization and how he controlled women through force, threats of force, debts and fines. On Nov. 21, 2007, a jury convicted the ring-leader of this operation, Harrison “Hardbody” Norris Jr., on multiple charges of sex trafficking and slavery. According to evidence presented at trial, Norris kidnapped some victims and lured others to come live with him by promising to train them as professional wrestlers. Witnesses testified that Norris also obtained victims from other pimps, who “traded” women with Norris. Cedric Jackson was one such pimp from whom Norris received two women. Once in Norris's home, the victims were held against their wills, fined, beaten, threatened with violence, and forced to engage in prostitution and domestic service. In the same court today, Michelle Achuff, 25, of Lafayette, Tenn. and Leslie Smith 22, of Macon, Ga., were sentenced to probation for making false statements to agents of the FBI. These two women, who previously pleaded guilty to these crimes, were also "team leaders" in Norris's prostitution organization. Achuff and Smith admitted that they provided false information about Norris’s activities to federal law enforcement agents, claiming that he was only involved in a legitimate wrestling company, in order to protect Norris.
