addresses for the various ISPs where my servers were sending my traffic routinely denied anything irregular was going on. They don’t want to rattle any cages, maybe because they are in collusion with the hackers, maybe because they don’t want to lose clients, maybe because they don’t want to lose their jobs by making waves, who knows. But they have been totally irresponsible. There isn’t much hope of any resolution. It seems that hypermart’s support is run by baboons, as I have been trying to get janetleih.com, helenforelle.com and marioedlosi.com all transferred to tucows for three months now (at this point, I’m not sure why I am trying to do this. Maybe if I get all of the process inside the US, I will be able to make complaints to the South Dakota and Massachusetts Attorney Generals as well as the FCC). The domain credits disappeared about six weeks ago and there was a large charge to my credit card, but now their support claims to know nothing about my request to get them transferred. I am at the point of bashing my head against a brick wall, which is apparently what I have been doing for the past year in the first place. Anyway, on 12/27/2004, I did get some feedback from one of my web sites, the first feedback I’ve had for several months. 5/29/2006 Since I wrote this, I have changed registrars, hosts and ISP’s, but my problems remain the same. I have gotten almost no feedback from my websites, I assume that someone is spoofing responses to letters sent to it. I apologize, but I have done everything I can and I refuse to let this drive me off the web. I continue to try to find a solution. Please write to me and if you get a reply supposedly from me which seems inaccurate or is nasty or rude, please print it off and call me and ask me. You have to leave a message telling me why you are calling, I don’t pick up unless I know who is calling: (605) 987-5070. If it was sent by a spoofer, I will ask you to fax it to me. |
